Imagine this scenario:
You let your 4 year old outside to play. When you go to check on her, she is gone. You begin looking for her and calling her name up and down the street. That's when you see her. NAKED! Screaming! Banging on the window from inside a neighbor's apartment. This happened yesterday in an L.A. neighborhood in the Redlands area.
The father ran into the apartment and rescued his daughter from the naked neighbor. The father ran home with her and called the police. When the police arrived they found the neighbor hiding in his apartment from the angry group of neighbors that had gathered outside. The man was arrested and is now being held on a $500,000 bail.
Take a look at this man. His name is Terence Giberson, he is 52 years old. He had no criminal record.
Do I believe he has never abused a child before? NO! He has just never been caught before, in my opinion. I am worried that since this is his first arrest, he just may get a really lenient sentence. This is what I am talking about. One time abusing a child and you are off the streets for the rest of your life. One strike and you are out. This should be a federal law. States should not have the ability to be lenient on pedophiles or human traffickers.
That is my opinion and it should be yours too.
